Apicella’s Artwork

Vincenzo Apicella is a well-rounded artist: painter, journalist, satirical cartoonist and designer. He has lived in London for over 50 years and has contributed as a cartoonist to internationally renowned publications.

We were fortunate enough to meet him during one of his trips back to Rome; as mutual admirers, we hit it off immediately. And so it is that some of Enzo’s works have found themselves on the walls of Ristorante Grano: great canvases that hide behind coloured lines stories, adventures, hidden messages to be revealed to those who know how to interpret them.

Just as Enzo may appear on one of his frequent visits to enjoy lunch or a chat at one of our tables. Visits from an artist and a friend that brighten the day.
